It snowed today for a bit
White flakes settled to ground
The street another world
Traffic slowed to jam
Barren trees iced with rain
I watched & heater blows
For a bit another place
An umbrella March in snow
Cold Before the spring
For a moment a parallel world
Snow fast to sludge
Then water once more
Down the drain
The street returns to home
